About RTS Conctractors
RTS Contractors is a Faroese contractor that carries out all ground, concrete and sewer work and specializes in tasks that require drilling and blasting of rocks.
We carry out building and construction projects in the Faroe Islands and Greenland, both as a subcontractor and main contractor.

At RTS, we continuously invest in the latest technology that makes our construction work more precise, efficient and transparent. All our machines are equipped with advanced technology that makes it possible to carry out even the most complex profiles with great accuracy.
The machine operators work directly from digital drawings that are uploaded to the machines. This ensures that all measurements and slopes are followed down to the smallest detail – even in difficult terrain. This not only provides higher quality and less waste, but also faster progress and greater safety.
We also have our own surveyor, who uses the latest equipment for precise measurement of terrain and control of completed work. With drone-supported measurement, we can continuously document progress and quality with high precision – and give both ourselves and our customers a clear overview of the project’s status.
The technological upgrade is part of our strategy to deliver even better results – faster, more precisely and with full documentation.

Early involvement saves time and money
Our customers come back because we keep our promises. Based on many years of experience, we can quickly give an estimate of how long a project will take and what it costs. Of course, there are adjustments from estimates to final quotations, but usually we are close.
We achieve the best results when customers involve us early in the process. We are experts in all the preliminary work of blasting away rocks, crushing rocks into pebbled stones, preparing the ground, and casting retaining walls and other ground-level concrete work.
When we sit at the table from the very beginning, our experience saves customers both time and money. We help them with a realistic schedule for the subsequent work.
History
RTS was founded by the brothers Svend and Andrias Lamhauge in 1985.
From 2021 to 2024, RTS was partly owned by MT Højgaard. Today, Andrias Lamhauge owns 100% of the company.
RTS Contractors owns 100% of the subsidiary RTS Construction.

A large part of our employees have worked here for more than 20 years. They share their knowledge and experience with newer and younger employees, so it benefits all our customers.
Without skilled and experienced employees, RTS would not be able to solve the complicated construction tasks that we solve.
